I am so excited about my garden this year - I can't help but share some pictures! I hope you all will post pics of your gardens as well. Remember those summers of weeding corn in our swimsuits so our backs would get tan?! I NEVER thought I would enjoy gardening as an adult, but here we are - I just love to play in the dirt!The first picture is one of my blueberry bushes. They are just starting to turn color!
These are some boxes Jason built for me this year. I've got herbs, strawberries, asparagus, tomatoes and some lettuce that has seriously bolted in the heat!
This is the rest of the second tier (behind where those boxes are). I've got lots of squash plants, green beans, cantelope and some pickling cucumbers. (Plus a ton of weeds - this is my next project for the kids) Mom, I'll be calling you later this summer for directions on how to make those little dill pickles!
Corn, corn, corn! I just hope I can keep the worms from eating it all this year. Oreo loves running up and down the rows! I had so much fun watching my kids weed the corn last week. I wonder if they will garden when they grow up!
I'm growing some of those gourds that you can make into birdhouses. Jason thinks it is silly to grow something in the garden that we can't eat, but oh well! Post your garden pictures, ideas and tips! I would love to see what everyone else is doing and what you have had success with.

Your garden looks great Sarah! I am jealous of all the space you have. Looks like you also have Mom's green thumb. Can we come get some blueberries?:)
