Update on Family

Well for those of you who dont know, Lindsay had an MRI because one of her eyes turned in. All is well but she is going to be getting glasses tomorrow. If this does not work then she gets the patch, Arrggggg matey. Then they will determine if she needs surgery. Thomas was diagnosed with IUGR, which means he is behind on his growth. Regular tests are being done and if more problems arise induction will be taking place. Otherwise he will be here on the 20th of December. He's a little kicker! P.S. I passed my accounting class with a high B! Thank you i'll be here all week.

Hey everyone, I just thought it would be fun to post a few pictures. We went to Washington DC last week for our temple trip. It was a lot of fun-we went to the Bureau of Engraving (you should see my basement now!) and saw how they make money-it was really interesting. We have had quite a bit of snow the past few days, so today we went sledding. The kids had a great time. Max went on the sled a few times with me, but most of the time he was crawling around in the snow eating it off his mittens. Note the Superman hat and gloves-he thinks he is Superman and wants to be called such when he dons the hat. Goofy kid. Kate also had her sixth birthday on the 5th and was quite pleased with her day. She took twinkies to share at school-I think that was the highlight for her. Anyway...Bernd is off to DJ a stake young adult dance tonite-lots of fun. I gotta go make breakfast for dinner-yes it's one of THOSE days.:)

The Calendar

Hi everyone! We'd like to put together a family calendar for MOM again this year so please send your photos to me as soon as you can. If you can send them digitally that would be the best because I have a program on my computer that allows me to create the calendar. Also, could you please include the birthdays of everyone in your family? Ideally, I'd like the photos e-mailed to me by next Sunday so I can complete the calendar and get it published. The calendar will cost $19.99 + shipping/tax so we'll have to figure out what we can all chip in. If you have any questions, just e-mail or call.

To Dave the Brave

David,

Thanks for being brave and owning up to the dork comments. Kudos to you for your honesty! Looking forward to your future posts!

sarah's thoughts

Today, I was thinking about Christmas and
how most of the world does not know about
the true meaning of Christmas. What a blessing
it is to be part of this gospel!!! Many people
think that Christmas is just about presents and
blow-up thingamajiggys and lights and other
decorations.I think that Christmas is about the
birth of Jesus-not decorations. This year my family
is trying to save money so that we can build a barn
in the spring. We (us kids) have made ALL the presents
we are giving to help save money. Also, our Christmas
Wish Lists consist of 2-5 things that are pretty small.
For instance- I mostly want a tennis racket. Mom is telling me
to get off so bye!
