Today Is Thanksgiving By Sarah Hirschi
Today is Thanksgiving
The turkey is fat,
Grandpa is getting his old felt hat,
For today is Thanksgiving!!!

Please cousin pass the pie,
Oh hi Grandpa Mie!
Today we eat our pie and cake,
Tomorrow we have a stomach ache!!

Today is Thanksgiving
And we are all thanking
Our Father who has given us all we have
FOR,

Today is Thanksgiving,
Just think of all you have,
Our turkey, pie, cake
Cranberries,rolls, and drink!!
Today think of all you have,
For today, today is Thanksgiving.

-I actually wrote this poem about a week before Thanksgiving, I was going to post it ON Thanksgiving but could not.

CHRISTMAS By Sarah Hirschi
Christmas bells ring,
Carolers sing,
" All is well,
All is well."

Bright presents round the tree,
Which ones are for me?
Stockings hang on the mantel tall,
Soon to be filled for all.

Presents for the little ones,
Hugs for all,
" Merry, Merry Christmas!"
is the call from all!

Christmas bells ring,
Angels sing,
"All is well
On this holy night!"

-This poem I wrote on 11-26-07 and I do not know why. Maybe it is because I like writing poems to put in my dad's lunches. Well, have to go now!!!!- SARAH A. HIRSCHI
