"Mom, What's a henchman?"

So Kate asked the question the other day, "Mom, what's a henchman?" I was a little taken aback-henchman isn't a regular part of our vocabulary-but I just told her it's kind of a bad guy who takes out people that you don't like. (that's my definition-I'm sure Webster's is better) So of course I had to ask why she was asking about it, and she said, "Well, you know Johnny in my class? He was following me around and said that he would be my henchman for me." Nice. I love kindergarten romances-so sweet and innocent and henchman-y.

Must be true love! Aren't all our family relationships similar to that - sometimes sweet and sometimes very henchman-y!
